@Sam Sulser, Back in 2012 when I began indexing, I entered my own family (self, husband & children - all living then and now in 2026 with the idea of creating my personal tree and so that the information would be available to future descendants in the likely event that the earth will be destroyed (probably sooner than later!) Now, when I want to update info I entered with great-grands etc or even with death info I can't see anything I entered except my own name and deceased relatives. What happened to the FS promise that we could always see the info we entered? For those of us who don't trust AI beyond a shadow of a doubt, what do we do? Can't trust paper records kept at home, I just had a flood. Thanks, Mary

Hey Mary, do you mean the family tree part of FamilySearch?Anything you added there will still be there. Living people can only be seen by those who added it but you should be able to see anything you added, even back in 2012 unless you have used a different account.

@Sam Sulser Thanks, I was looking at the Fan Chart - this time I saw the tiny little fans & found my little great-grands.
