Very questionable link to "famous relatives"
Clicking on "Activities > Famous Relatives" produced a ridiculous result — all those supposed links are predicated on Doña Elvira Álvarez (https://www.familysearch.org/en/tree/person/details/P9G5-PBG ) being the mother of Francisco Mosquera (https://www.familysearch.org/en/tree/person/details/LHG6-RHQ%29. Notice how Doña Elvra only has one source, and Francisco Mosquera just three, none of them primary evidence.
However, Miguel W. Quintero, the foremost Colombian genealogist has shown how shady that early Mosquera link is: see his wonderful conference at

😂
Notice how we give a Low quality score to a person's record when there are no sources. CAses like Doña Elvira and Francisco Mosquera should get an even worse score, because, without good sources, are relied upon for many trees and (mis)interpretations, like fake "Famous Relatives".

The data on Family Tree is entered, maintained, and verified only by its users working together to attempt to create a single, universal tree for the human family. All conclusions regarding relationships are based on those user contributions.
If modern genealogical research has produced sufficient evidence and a general consensus that Francisco is not Elvira's son, then you can just go ahead and fix the tree.
Do post all available sources and documentation to support this change and clearly explain in notes why the change is being made. Be prepared to follow the profiles for a few years to maintain your change and discuss it with other users who may disagree because they view this as one researcher's personal theory that is not going to stand the test of time.
This is one of the great advantages of the wiki-style community tree that Family Tree is. You can correct it.
