I need help with the first FamilySearch Facebook Groups. I would like to know how to remove my name from the groups as I am still receiving messages. These groups are from about 15-20 years ago.

    Good morning @Betseylee Browning

If you are still active on Facebook, it's easy to exit a group. You can also remain a member of the group and just turn off email notifications, if you prefer.

From the home page of the specific group, there is a dropdown menu under the word "Joined." You can manage notifications, unfollow, or leave from that menu:

    The Manage Notifications options:

    Hope this helps!

And, if you are no longer active, but still remember your log-in info, you can do the same. If you don't remember your password, but remember the email address you used, you can ask for a password reset and then follow the steps above.

I probably am as an admin on these sites and I cannot see "Joined". There are 15 sites that I was linked to when I was a missionary.

As an Admin, you can manage notifications so you no longer receive emails. I'm still an Admin on several, but I turned off email notices many years ago.
You can also unfollow the group.
On a PC - click the 3 dots to view this dropdown menu:
