I am looking for traces of the American family of my Norwegian father-in-law. He possibly lived in Reno, Nevada for 7 years sometime between 1950-1960. He was supposedly married there. He is now deceased. His name was Karl-magnus Sætre born 21.09.1932

Do you know if he Americanized his name? If you would like to share his IRN or as many details as you can, I would be happy to help you find him. It is also helpful to know where you have searched previously.

Reno, Nevada is in Washoe County. Notorious place to get married in 1950-1960. And divorced. Here is the county records search site: https://www.washoecounty.gov/clerks/mlb/search_marriage_records.php
