What is the violation of my upload?
On 12/28/2025 I uploaded 2 images related to my mother, Margaret Belle King (LKGQ-SW). One was a birth certificate; the other was a school report card. Both are restricted for violating the guidelines. I read the guidelines and I don't think I violated any of them. Please tell me what the violation is. Thanks. [name removed for privacy]

Images are initially assessed by a computer only process. The notification of violation should have included an email address to request a review by a human being. It appears to me that the initial pass does not produce an explanation.
You need to follow the process and try that route first because the people in question are unlikely to monitor this Community.
The only time that I've had something rejected, I appealed pretty much immediately and got a fairly quick response to say, yes, it was alright after all. So it can work…

Nearly every time I upload a Memory, I receive the automated rejection. I appeal every time, and every time the image has been reviewed by a human and the restriction lifted, usually in less than 24 hours.

@49048701 These were only uploaded today 28 Dec 2025 sometimes it takes more time to review so the rejection message may have been sent as a kind of precautionary thing - give it time

@maryellenstevensbarnes1 - all the evidence that we have seen is that an initial rejection is it - there is no later review unless the submitter asks for it. So there's no need to give it time, submit the appeal as soon as you like.
