I just created an account and uploaded my gedcom file from Ancestry. It has around 3500 names. It uploaded fine, and the 'comparing' is complete. However, now when I try to see my family tree, it just shows my name and a branch to parents w/ no names. Why are my thousands of people not showing up?

    Joseph,

I am sorry things did not go as smoothly as you expected when you uploaded your Gedcom file from Ancestry.com. It sounds like you have done a tremendous amount of work already. Thirty-five hundred ancestors is quite an acomplishment. Because I do not know what you have tried, may I ask if you have tried the following?

After signing into FamilySearch.org, on the top menu bar hover over Search. In the dropdown list choose Genealogies. At the bottom of this page you will find "Upload Your Individual Tree." The following article may also be a help.

Please let me know if you need further assistance. I will watch for your response.
