Is FS having technical difficulties? I have not been able to attach sources from the catalog.

    @SusanO - I'm not the person to answer your question but FS staff will need a screenshot or at least more details on what you are experiencing — Best wishes, Mary

    @SusanO

    If you were encountering the problem described here

    https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/183738/attaching-a-historical-record

    (and several similar recent threads) you should find that it has now been fixed.

    If your problem is different or you are still having trouble, please post again.

    This is the same problem. It was working for the first time in 2 weeks, on Wednesday (did not try yesterday due to illness), but the same issues have resumed. I was so happy and productive Wednesday! Please, help.

    @C_Geek When was the last time you tried to use the Attach function? It is working for me, but if you are still having problems please provide details.

    @SerraNola I have tried today again. It is not working. Comes with same page "Oops, something went wrong. Please refresh the page." It has been ongoing since Nov 21 for me, expect last Wednesday. But has since continued to not work. Also, I cannot search anything. I was aware it might be the update that is not supporting my computer compatibilities as it is not up to date with software, but it was corrected Wednesday, so it was resolved and then revoked. I appreciate the help. Thank you.

    @C_Geek re this and the other discussion - I wouldn't know exactly how many recent changes FS has made to these functions, or when they made them (@SerraNola as a mod is more likely to have access to this information), but the key point is that FS, having, like all organisations, limited resources, will most likely be testing its changes only on its formally supported software combinations. It may well have made changes that use browser technology in a way that is not supported in your software environment (and it may have rolled back a change temporarily on Wednesday and then gone forward again).

    It would however definitely be worth trying the failing functions on a different browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox are the ones formally supported) in case that bypasses the problem.

    It has been found on many occasions that deleting your cache and cookies may help alleviate these Ooops moments. You can go to How do I delete my Cookies if you do not already know how to do this. Please advise if you are able to access your desired records by trying any or all of the suggestions above.
