Film # 008117093 - restricted access for Hungary, Pest-Pilis-Solt-Kiskun, Vörösvár - Church records
Hello,
I am researching this village and cannot access this film online anymore with a message that access is restricted ; but other films in the set are not restricted - any suggestions or information about what is going on with these records ?
Thanks
Viktor

@Udo Fischer In the case of Film 8117093, we had a metadata error. I sent this in yesterday and it was corrected. Rights management said films are re-evaluated automatically but the queue is currently large, so you will need to recheck it periodically. Since the error was only in Item 1, you can still view Items 2 and 3 from Images:

@Udo Fischer If you have specific records you can provide it might help to get a clearer answer to the problem.
Recent changes in the laws of this country have required permission changes in how the FamilySearch catalog and other information are obtained and viewed by the public. The first suggestion I can offer at this time is to keep trying to access the records over time, as the permissions may change in the future. Remember that the 1920s to current are not normally allowed because of privacy restrictions.
I can also suggest that at this time you take advantage of other platforms for research, such as Ancestry or FindMyPast, to name a few, which work under different restrictions than FamilySearch.
You may also want to contact the original Archives that hold the records if it is still possible to go directly to the source. (You will find the archive listed in the catalog record.)

I have this same exact issue happening out of Melykut films I was working on. All of a sudden one day some were restricted but others in the same year and type are not. It's like it's a random hit throughout the records. Good luck. I brought this up a while ago and it's still not fixed. Probably going to have to work on something else in the mean time. It makes no sense how part of 1856, for example, is OK to look at but another month is not from the same type of records. I was told they pulled them by mistake but the wait time to fix it could take weeks or months.

Not sure what you are asking for with regards specific records, but :
International Film 613577 DGS 8117092 Marriages 1812 -1895 - gives message 'restricted'
But other films are in the set are OK & load as usual :
International Film 613574 DGS 4658944 Births Deaths Marriages various 1693 - 1811
International Film 613575 DGS 4552940 Births 1811 - 1869
International Film 613576 DGS 4552299 Births 1870 - 1895
International Film 613578 DGS 8205130 Deaths 1812 -1895
So the question why is one film restricted, but not the others if it's the result of a general review, as StephenDespot notes ?
Thanks,
Viktor
