question about attaching JPGs of news articles about death of an individual
I have found articles about a friend of mine, who died in an auto accident in 1983. I'd like to upload these to his page, and I'd also like to post a memory there. But I can't see a way to do that. Can you help?
Here are the two records I found on Family Search:
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:KFX9-BF1?lang=en
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QV22-QR2T?lang=en
I'm not sure why there are two.
Thanks in advance,
David Harris

Are you wanting to post the entire page as a memory? Or just the photo of the grave marker?
If the latter, go to the memorial on Find a Grave and click on the image of the headstone. Then in the bottom right corner, click "View original" and it will open up on a new tab. Then right-click to save the image. It is now attachable as a memory.
There are 2 sources are because they are from 2 different websites run by 2 competing companies. The photos may or may not be identical, depending upon the volunteer(s) who uploaded them.

@David Everett Harris have you tried adding the information as Sources instead? You can attach the FS Records you quote, and/or add non-FS links as external sources. In either case you will have no problems with the various upload policy issues that may arise with Memories, e.g. copyright, and Sources are better verifiers from a genealogy perspective, too.
