Some 1940 census pages have multiple entries for the same individual
An example of this is https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QSQ-G9M1-76ZF?view=index&cc=2000219&lang=en&groupId=
Here we see all non-head-of-household members duplicated in the index on the left. Then, at the bottom of the index we find each head of household duplicated in their own household.
I know some folks are manually using Manage Indexes→Delete to clean these up, so if this page is cleaned up by the time someone looks at it, check a page or so before or behind this image. It just seems like a lot of manual work to cleanup these indexes. It should be easy to detect—any 1940 census image that has more than 80 entries probably has this problem.

@EarlMarshall if it isnt documented it didnt happen Thank you for reporting this. I have added it to other recent examples of duplicate indexing and am preparing to discuss with engineers. It would be helpful to know if this is a recent change on these 1940 census pages.
