I am tryiig to book an appointment at the familysearch location in Cambridge, Ontario Canada

I'm not getting a response to my request to visit the local family search location.

    I am not connected with FamilySearch

    If you can't contact the FamilySearch Center at your location, you may be able to contact the Latter Day Saints Church at the same location, or nearby location, to find out what the situation is, perhaps by using social media such as Facebook.

    Another alternative would be to use Support for North America https://www.familysearch.org/en/fieldops/united-states-and-canada-contact-us

    The other alternative may be to contact the (main) FamilySearch Library in Salt Lake City which I think has responsibility for all the other Centers. A previous email address was fhl@FamilySearch.org but I don't know whether it is still current. If you are on Facebook, contact through https://www.facebook.com/familysearchlibrary/

    @iriswilliams @MandyShaw1 and everyone - The Family Search Support Help phone for USA is toll-free 866-406-1830 — if one of their telephone staff doesn't know the answer, they will direct your call to the appropriate team — example, just 3 days ago I got an answer by email within 20 minutes of my call - around 8pm Mountain Time! Lots of questions can be answered and they can even take you step by step thru some things if you're sitting in front of your computer when you call.

    According to my Google browser, the Cambridge location is only open on the 2nd & 4th Tues with very limited hours. If you want something at the Salt Lake Library, their direct line is

    I'm in Australia, none of the family search centres respond via email. All have had their phones disconnected. FamilySearch has removed access to many records - they no longer send films out and no longer have the person look up service. I wonder how a person can contact them about this issue. An email address would be helpful. I might try the one listed above. Some of the indexed records have been re-indexed using AI. Not being able to view the original image is not helpful in determining the accuracy of these records.

    In case you just want access to Premium Content and/or 'FSC/Affiliate Library only' images, this comment from another thread discusses how you should be able to access this material from any LDS building that uses the Liahona wifi network:
