Hello, I am from Jamaica but I live in the UK, I use family search to trace my ancestry but recently I have noticed that some of the imformation has been removed, not sure if it has been done deliberately or was done by mistake, please look into it for me, eg births for Marlie Hill St Catherine Jamaica from 1880 - 1930, now only shows ones from 1803 to 1899, 1900 - 1930 are missing,

@Pater Brown Can you provide more information about Marie Hill? What is her PID number so we can view her existing sources?

@ShelleWells FYI, Marlie Hill is a place in Jamaica (not a person). For example, here is a search for record images: Marlie Hill, Saint Catherine, Jamaica

@ShelleWells and @Alan E. Brown, I believe that @Pater Brown is looking for a record/document showing any/all birth/christening records in/around the place named Marlie Hill in Saint Catherine, Jamaica so Pater Brown needs to provide a Person Name and PID or other identifying info so you (not me - no experience in Historical records :) )) can help him find the records/books he needs to do his research.

This is the Jamaican Research page on FamilySearch:

If you've noticed access changes to record collections, it is probably due to changes in contracts. When this happens, FamilySearch removes access to the images, but if they were attached as sources, the source is still there, the image would just not be viewable. Then FamilySearch works with the record stakeholders to restore access as quickly as possible with updated contracts. Sometimes privacy laws change in countries which causes a review of historical record access. This may be what you are seeing.0
