Constant Chat Notification with No New Chat Activity

I am receiving "new Chat" notifications on multiple computers and my phone Family Tree app, with no new chat activity.

This is occurring on multiple desktop and laptop computers, and on my phone in the Family Tree app. When using a desktop or laptop computer, the new chat "red dot" is present each time I open a new screen. After opening and closing the chat box to clear to "red dot", it is present again when a new FamilySearch screen is opened.

On my phone in the Family Tree app, after clearing the chat notification, it reappears the next time I open the app.

Please advise.

Several people are experiencing the same thing:

I've been able to get it to stop on my account by going to the chat menu and selecting "Mark All Chats as Read".

I tried that. It only went away for that tab. Once I opened a new tab in the same session, the red dot returned.

Hi, I am having the same problem. I keep getting a red chat notification even though I have no new messages. I also noticed that some of my record hints for family members will not open, and I keep getting an error message when I try to view the images. I already tried different devices and browsers and cleared my cookies, but the problem continues.
I just wanted to report that this is happening to me as well.
Do you know when this might be fixed? Thank you.
