Uploading personal trees as a memory

I've noticed an emerging trend of individuals 8 or 9 generations removed uploading screenshots of their relationship with the individual. It seems that this will clutter the system, and recording these lineages is best done in one's own file system. After all, ancestors can have thousands of descendants; what if each of us uploaded screenshots of our descent from early settlers?

I really feel that memories must related to the history of the individual and not a highly specific line of descent.

Thank you

I can see 8 or 9th cousins out being an issue with regards to uploading items of relationship, but a direct descendant seems reasonable? They're direct family.

Such relationship diagrams will by definition show at least one living person and their relationship to a parent, so publicly uploading them as 'Memories' breaks the Code of Conduct anyway, I'd have thought - you should therefore be able to report them.

I have occasionally uploaded a Family Group Sheet (not showing any living profile) to illustrate relationships.

For example - my maternal grandparents (both long deceased) were 3rd cousins. The group sheet illustrates the connection.

In another case (not my family, but on a family where I assisted with some research), the priest who performed most of the family weddings and officiated at all the family funerals was a cousin. The Family Group Sheet illustrates the connection.
