i have thousands of relatives popping up in My Heritage and GEDmatch, how can I differentiate between paternal and maternal? I know my mother's name, and her 1st hubbys name, but I don't think he's my dad. All these folks can't be maternal, surely someone on my dad's side has done DNA testing. Thank you all in advance!

On Ancestry there is a tab in the DNA section that tells you which parent the relative comes from. I do not know how that works on "My Heritage". I would think you should be able to ask that question on My Heritage and they could tell you how to determine between your father and mother or Grandfather and Grandmother.
