Hello FamilySearch Memories team,

I receved that message from FamilySearch support:

Due to its content, posting this memory is prohibited and will be removed from the site within 30 days (see upload rules and guidelines).
You will find instructions in an email sent to the address listed in your FamilySearch account.

I put this photo and I try to understand what is the law that this picture is not appropriate ? Can you write to me the rull this picture does not follow ?I had asked by phone maybe 3 years ago to a representative of FamilySearch if I could put such a picture. There was no problem at that time.

This picture has been download on FamilySearch several time for the Daughters king memories.

Why this one is not appropriate now ?

    The initial review of any memory we upload is by computer algorithm, not by a human. The algorithm makes mistakes. Reply to the email requesting human review; usually the image will be approved for display within a few hours.

    @Marcel Blais

    In addition to the comments above, it is always good to review the FS Upload Guidelines and Policies.

    @KenK-Family do you disagree with the FS policy as linked to by @AmberML1, or with how it is being applied, or both?

    I'm not the only person with the issue of memories being deleted ( That fall well inside the guidelines ). It's the fact of no direct course to take to get answers. The Sister's and Elders do what they can. MandyShaw1 are you an administrator or just another commentor. Unfortunately people read the guidelines differently. Honest Answers is all thats needed. Algorithm issues need to be addressed properly. O replying to the email that's sent in regards to restrictions, gets bounced back to sender when responding. Is proper recognition on people and death locations not the goal.

    I am just another commenter, I was keen to clarify your question.

    I have had a couple of these Memories notifications, I replied to them and the issue was speedily resolved, as I know is also the experience others have had. The initial algorithm is a bit broad brush but the user-requested manual review does seem to work. Maybe try replying again to the email you received, perhaps there was an email system glitch at the FS end that day.

    @AmberML1 are you aware of any issues with the Memories restriction notifications system?

    One final point: I'd personally expect the verification of burial information (and indeed all other profile details) to be handled by Sources (which could be FS (including Find a Grave/Billion Graves), external, or Memory-based) - not primarily by Memories.

    No changes to report regarding the Memories restriction notifications system.
