Enhanced Version of the Attach-to-Tree Process Coming
FamilySearch is currently developing an enhanced version of the attach-to-tree process from full-text. As part of this effort, we’ll be releasing several iterations to limited groups of users over time. This means that some users may notice changes earlier than others, depending on which version they’re randomly assigned.
This phased rollout allows us to test, gather feedback, and make improvements before a full release. It’s a common approach in web-based software development, and it helps ensure we deliver the best possible experience.
We welcome and encourage feedback from the Community throughout this process—your input is invaluable in helping us get it right.

I found that I am unable to attach a record found in full text search to any living person in my tree. I was able to find that same record in Historical Images and add it to my source box and from there I was able to attach it to a living person on my tree. Will the full-text search system be designed to attach sources to a living person in family tree only through source linker?
