Highlighting text on the first couple of lines blocked by the "Click anywhere and .... " popup
To add an index entry the validation logic requires you to highlight the source text, which is a bit of an issue when the entries are on the first couple of lines, as they are covered by the un-dismissible "Click anywhere and …" popup (See image). Other than highlighting some whitespace somewhere on page, to satisfy the validation logic, are there any other workarounds for this interesting design choice?

It appears to be an issue that should possibly be reviewed, I will forward this up the line to see if they can do anything about it.
