Hi @Patricia Ann Broughton. It seems you have a couple of different issues at play here.
The simpler issue first: If Jewell Jesse Selph is showing up incorrectly as your parent in the tree, it simply means an erroneous relationship has been created. As we cannot view profiles of other living individuals, I cannot make the amendment for you, but you should be able to make the adjustment yourself following these steps. If that's still not working for you, check back in with some more information on the problem. There are many knowledgable contributors here that I'm sure can help.
When I do a search for the PID number you've given, only Jewel Jesse Selph's profile comes up. I do seem to remember encountering a similar issue some months ago, I think it was when attaching records, but it may have been to do with untangling erroneous merges. I can't remember exactly. But investigation at that time suggested it was some kind of a glitch and not something that was going to cause problems going forward so I didn't pursue it. Can you provide a bit more information on where you are seeing the same PID number attached to Mary Smith or where you are encountering this issue?

Hi Patricia As indicated above, go to your person page (profile). On the details tab, go down to the family members section. On the right side, find where you are listed as a child of Jewell Jesse Selph. Click the pencil icon next to your name where you are shown as a child of Jewell Jesse Selph. This will bring up a card where you can remove yourself as a child of Jewell Jesse Selph. We also note that there are some confusing relationships with you, your siblings and your step farther.
As far as Mary Smith goes who you say has the same profile ID, L2PB-VLB. We can't find her. Let us know where you see Mary Smith. A possibility is some confusing letters in the ID. The number 2 can often be confused with the letter Z. And the letter B can often be confused with the number 8. You might check that. Otherwise, just let us know how and where you see Mary Smith.
If you feel like you would like some more help. we suggest you call the help line at 866 406 1830 and they will be happy to help guide you with the changes. You could also visit a Family Search Center near you for additional help.
Hope this helps, good luck.
