Not sure whether I have interpreted your post correctly, but it's very common to find multiple people with the same name on FamilySearch Family Tree, since it has billions of entries. I was adding a 4 greats uncle the other day and found his mother-in-law's given name and surname were the same as mine (the uncle's surname being something quite different). I do agree that this was a slightly weird experience.
If the profile you have found is definitely describing your sister (same dates/places/relationships/sources), not someone else of the same name, you can Merge the two.
Please be aware that we can't discuss living people here on Community, but if your sister is deceased and the above doesn't help, please post again with more details of what you are seeing that is concerning. Thanks.
