Why change the Timeline feature?

Hi, The timeline feature was inviting and appealing as it was. When users clicked the About or Timeline tabs on any person's main detail page, an interesting timeline of that person's life events was readily displayed without having to make any further clicks — a very nice feature. A user could simply scroll up or down on the timeline and get a tasty sampling of that person's life events. A few days ago, I was rather confused to discover that the timeline of life events for all persons no longer readily displayed on the About or Timeline pages, but rather a statement of "There are no events to display on the timeline. Either add an event or include more events using Show." What? It wasn't until today that I realized a user has to now find and click "Show" on every person's About or Timeline page for the Timeline information to even display. The initial impression I had was that there were no timeline events available to display for that person. Why basically hide the Timeline or add extra steps to have the Timeline appear each time? Having a new Timeline menu button(s) option is fine but have the Timeline of events for every person automatically display, as it previously did, when visiting the About or Timeline pages. I don't see any reason to hide the Timeline info/display which was already a good feature. "Improvements" can often be good, but this one hid a good, interesting, and easy to see feature, and made it now look bare bones and perhaps more difficult to find. Having the Timeline info display initially, without having to hunt for and click another button every time, seems far more appealing. Stay with what already works well and don't hide the Timeline, it deserves to be initially displayed on every About or Timeline page without having to hunt for, find, and click more buttons. What do you think? thanks

I just checked and I am seeing the same. Looks like a bug has crept in. Hope they fix it soon. That Show button isn't new and it has been used to set what to show in the timeline for a long time but not showing anything initially is new and I agree with you that it doesn't make any sense. That is why I'm sure it's just a bug.

When i hit the show button the timeline eventens will appear, but there seems to be an problem with the "historic events". Even when i select this option the historic events won't show up in the timeline.

    Can you please fix this?

@Donald J Brady This issue seems to be resolved and the "time line" tab is now included on the person page. Make sure it is showing for you, too, and report any problems. Thanks for reporting this!
