Full Name Review for Children in a Will

When doing full name review for the trustor's children in a will, and the surname isn't recorded next to each child's first name, it seems as though the proper way to ensure that the first and last name for each are recorded would be to attach the surname of the trustor in the preceding paragraph. Correct me if I'm wrong.

No, we don't assume the surname. If after the five sons are mentioned and it gives their surname (as in "John, Tom, Steve, Joe, and Mike Smith"), then you would index the surname for all five sons.

Adding to the "don't assume" rule - the reason we don't assume is that the son[s] or daughter[s] could be from different moms or dads.
