I did a search a few days ago. and found something like this. »»»»»»

I believe it was

Chester Distict State of South Carolina and dated Nov 9th 1824 ???

Alexander Carter dec'd wife Ann Thomas or Thos Exex or Executor

Reuben N Carter

Alexr Carter

Thos Carter

Elias Carter

The above four names were listed as above, just under the beginning lines of the record and on the left edge as shown, possibly as co-executors /assistants. I need to find it again and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING I have used in the search fields will find this record again. What is happening? / What could the problem be?

Though it doesn't match your notes (I can't find anything that does, either), does the following help at all? https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:939L-FNG2-K?lang=en&i=294 and the 8 following images.

I think it backs up the material already on Alexander's Family Tree profile sources (MT37-TCJ). It looks to be on Ancestry also.

@1938kdf I also came up with the one which is on the @MandyShaw1 list. It includes most of the 'players', but although close, not quite the one your looking for… 5 Jul 1824, Chester County, Probate Court

The record I described above was the first thing I ever recall seen mentioning "Elias Carter" in South Carolina with brothers or family. And I accidentally overwrote it later, saving another document on my latptop.

I do not recall seeing the Descendants of Alexander Carter - Genealoly.com before. The Brownie Mackie (Lu Brownie Ellis Mackie) who is on the bottom comment lived about 50 or so miles N of me in Mongomery Co, TX. I first saw her on FB Carter Cousins and Kin group about 2017 and found we were 5th cousins. Sadly, I did not visit her. I had never found anything that mentioned "Elias Carter" with brothers before.

If I an interpreting this correctly, Elias Carter is the son of Alex'r Carter & Anna Minskipe. Or is it Minskip

And his wife Elizabeth Minskipe Carter Carter was the dau of Thos Alexr Carter and Nancy Newton.

be the order of those sons? Howeve, I still have not been able to find the document
