How do I add details to Memories that others have added?
My father has added various memories to the tree over the years. I would like to add further details onto those memories, such as adding some dates and location where they occurred. I don't seem to be able to do this to the memories which he has added, only to those which I added. Is there a way around this?

While some things can only be edited by the original poster, you are able to add a comment to the memory with additional information.
Navigate to the person's Memories tab. Click on the photo or document that is missing information. At the top on the right you will see a section called Details. Under it are 5 icons. The last icon on the right says Comments. Click on that to add data about the memory.

@Виктория6789 Agree with @GFre on the use of the comments box - though I don't know the maximum number of characters allowed one can add several comment boxes.
I will though, add two other solutions. The following are general comments: Knowing that any John or Jane Doe can add a memory to anyone within FS without providing all the details (date, location etc) this can be frustrating. First send a message to the poster asking that the missing information (especially if you're able to provide this) is added. In the absence of any reply, you can write a Story linked to the memory in which you provide all the missing information.
Or, you can always download the memory onto your computor and then upload it as a new memory; though this time you being the poster all the relevant details can be inserted - the downside to this is you're duplicating the memory which will result in a cluttered box if too many are redone in this manner.
Or you could ask your father to delete his work and you repost the various memories.
Not perfect nor ideal but maybe of some help

You can also add a comment to any memories item and add any info you wish.
