How do I add a second name to the same person.

It appears that one of my relatives who's original name was

Heinrick Charles Schmidt

Due to anti German sentiment changed his name to

Henry Madden

There is a note in the record but I thought of also putting it in the name fields.

Should I and how do I do this?
