I have a book reference that indicates that I relative of the Perrett (Perret) family was one of only two divorces in Toledo, Belize prior 1930.

I am searching for that record.

The Book is "Confederate Settlements in British Honduras" by Donald Simmons, Jr.

The citation references is "Rosenberger, Daniel G." "An Examination of the Perpetuation of Southern Institutions in British Honduras by a Colony of Ex-Confederates" PhD dissertation, New York University, 1958

Have you tried searching newspapers for a reference to the divorce? Do you know when (even approximately) the divorce occurred? Was it in the 20th century or could it have been much earlier?

I see a reference to that dissertation, with images, in a 2015 Facebook post by the Belize National Library Service.
