Photos turn sideways when adding to Memories. Also drag and drop is unsupported.
I am a active contributor to family search, Have added thousands of photos and documents over the years. Recently I have had problems with photos turning sideways when adding to Memories. Also the drag and drop section is unsupported and will not accept the photo. I have been in contact with FS via email and have tried all recommended fixes. I have a fairly new Mac computer that is up to date and have reset cookies and all recommended fixes. Also, have been doing this for quite a few years without any problem. Has there been a recent update that has caused this ? Any help would be much appreciated.

Apologies for your recent hassles. The Engineers have been trying to update lots of old code lately and are trying to resolve many issues.
Yes, I've experienced the photo turning sideways on some of my uploads as well. I will mention this specifically to the Engineers. (There is always the option to adjust the image and rotate it in the Memory Viewer, but I agree, this would be a hassle if you are uploading tons of images and they are all sideways.)
As for your "drag and drop" issue, I'm not sure I understand. I have been able to successfully drag and drop individual/several pics at a time into the Gallery and into the Memories of Ancestors.

Just a quick update about the photo-turning-sideways-once-uploaded problem….
Unfortunatley, there will be no quick fix for this challenge. I am told that in most of these instances, the problem is with the original file and it's original orientation. Though I know this can be a huge hassle—especially when uploading many images at once—there is still the option to fix the orientation in the Memory Viewer.
