Why can't I edit a name or person's "title" in an obituary which was incorrectly indexed?

Preparing a lesson for teaching: Name: Alice Lucier #LB1Y-RDS, the obituary was incorrectly indexed to show name of "Ann R. Anderson" as Alice Lucier's mother. Ann R. Anderson is the daughter of Alice Lucier, NOT the mother. (The deceased parents of Alice Lucier were not named in the obituary.) To get the record to attach correctly as a daughter, I had to go back to the Person Page and add the daughter as a child, (likely still living) and then come back to the Source Linker and change the focus person on the right side blue banner in the source linker to "Ann R. Anderson" to get child's correct place (title) to line up correctly, so the record could be attached. However, the tool now displays the daughter in the "mother's space" with a "Detach Warning" that reads: "This source is attached to someone else in Family Tree: Ann R. Caobelli PSKN-VC8."

Please create another way to make the attachment correct, or allow the record to be edited for incorrect indexing. Thank you, (name removed) Landrey

I noticed the URL appears to have a problem; perhaps it's due to the fact that I am logged in as a helper for the person I am preparing a lesson for.

Problem URL: https://www.familysearch.org/en/search/linker?ark=/ark:/61903/1:1:QKL2-NXWD&id=LB1Y-RDS&hinting=/tree/person/details/LB1Y-RDS

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize I shouldn't post a living person. I was trying to explain my plight with trying to manipulate the Source Linker tool, and it leaving a Warning message…worried it may inadvertantly encourage someone to "undo" what I had to do to make it work.

Is there another way to accomplish what I did in that instance?
