Macros in Family search

Is there a way to create Macros for use in filling out family search text boxes? I have a shoulder issue, typing is becoming a problem. I've tried macros created in Word, but they don't transfer over.

@ljenkins are you wanting the canned reason statements for a merge restored? Or are you wanting a general copy and paste for any reason statement, note, etc.?

You cannot create macros within FamilySearch.

If you are using Safari on a Mac, this is easy to do by going into Settings > Keyboard > Text Replacement. I've created many for common phrases I use such has having a period followed by 1801 be replaced when I type it with "in the 1801 Norwegian Census."

These do not work in Firefox.

However, you mention Word so I assume you are on a Windows machine. Here's a pretty good article that talks about ways to set up text replacement in Windows. It sounds like finding a good 3rd party application works best.
