No where in all the helps for quick name review do I see any reference as to how to handle initials. i.e. H. W. Smith. most particularly the times when initials are highlighted but a surname is not attached i.e.: J. W.

Also when a given name is highlighted but the surname is not, do I take the liberty of indexing the surname with the given name?

Full Name Review should have the full name highlighted and if it's not, there's a way to highlight each part of the name and index it in another box labeled with the correct field name (given name, Surname) . But in Quick Name Review you're only doing one part of the name at a time.

Thanks for the response. I was great to have an email directly to me. It is so welcome.

My problem with with the Quick Name Review is where there is nothing but initials. No given or surname. i;e; W. H. Are they considered a given name?

First Name Initials are a Given Name in many old documents, especially when written in cursive or when filling in boxes or lines like on a census where there's not enough space to fill in the person's name. That's also why you see Saml for Samuel or Jos for Joseph. Also when highlighting, give those initials a separate highlight

maryellenstevensbarnes1, in Quick Name Review there is no option to highlight.
