Why we are not able to see the Catholic Church records to continue to do our research.?

They are not longer shown on the search area? Is there an explanation?

This does not help with Guatemalan church records.

The link below is not associated with either FamilySearch nor ancestry - but should be. You need to know the city or parish. The church registries are for Lutheran, Catholic and "Evangelish" sources >

“Here you can find church registers (mostly books of birth, marriage and death) from various European countries (currently Austria, Germany, Poland, Serbia and Slovenia).” >

    https://data.matricula-online.eu/en/  “Fonds” = Collections.

My wife from El Salvador explained that Catholic records for her country were also recorded in Spain, so when the earthquakes and Civil "unrest" destroyed records, there was a backup.

@luis dardon Can you be more specific with what records you cannot see? Are you saying they are not searchable or that you can't access the image? A URL, film number, or location would be helpful to answer your questions.

    Thank you for your responses!

It looks like they put the records back in to be able to be researchable!

I don't know if they were doing some updating but for a little while those records of the Catholic Church were removed.

    Again Thank you!
