Gold Star in A Circle on an Ancestor

Hello! A gold circle with a gold star in the upper left corner of a member of my tree has suddenly appeared. And there is a gold outline from me to this ancestor, including my father and great-grandfather.

What does this mean? I did try to search for this and could not find anything.

Thank you!

What tree view? Landscape, Pedigree, Fan, Descendancy, First Ancestor?

Is it First Ancestor? That has a the gold circle with a star beside a person on it.

Excuse my ignorance, but could you explain the term "First Ancestor"?

Hi Paul - it's relatively new - 2022 - and originally designed for those with Chinese or Korean ancestry. There are a few articles on how to use it.

This is my tree view, in First Ancestor view. The 'gold' lines follow me to my father, etc. to my 4x my great-grandfather who has the gold star as well. Just not sure why this part of my tree indicates this. No other part of my tree has this, Thank you!!

@LoriMcNeil1 You can see in the images I posted there are a two links that lead to some overview of the First Ancestor pedigree. One opens this statement:

The First Ancestor view was designed to help people with Chinese ancestry enter their clan genealogy books (jiapu) into Family Tree. People from patrilineal cultures that calculate tribal, clan, and other family affiliations in a way similar to Chinese clans may also find this view helpful. If you have Chinese ancestry, the First Ancestor view works best if you know your clan's first ancestor. If you don't know who he was, it may be easier for you to use the Landscape or another view in Family Tree. Users who have ancestors from other cultures are certainly welcome to experiment with the First Ancestor view. Realize that the First Ancestor view is not intended to be a general-purpose descendancy chart. The clan path is calculated using rules specific to the Chinese jiapu. This means it follows your father's paternal line to calculate a clan path and display the connection. The First Ancestor view will not find a clan path between you and any of your other ancestors, even those in your direct line. (Emphasis added.)

Also, Ánie posted a couple of links which I'll repeat here and see if I can make them live:
