Same name, but different addresses

I'm inputting directories. The instructions say not to record the same name if the other required fields are the same. The only required fields ARE names. Names to be recorded are sometimes the same, but they are different people, because their addresses are the different, and have different occupations. Do I follow the instructions and leave them out even though they are DIFFERENT people?

Yes. It only takes the name being in Family Search one time for that image in order to be found. The researcher can see once he looks up the name and sees the image that there are multiple people with that name and he can decide which one is the one he's looking for. If you indexed 10 John Smiths, they'd all bring you to the same image and you'd still have to decide which is the one you want.

I had no idea that's how it is done. Thank you so much!
