How to find ones answers to other posts
Hello all - when I want to remind myself as to my posts I click on the icon of a person top right of the screen and this leads me to the list of posts made (unless there's another way of doing this). However, it is possible to find a list of "answers" that one has made to another person's post? It's not only to remind myself what I've written but to also read what others may have said.

I've been going to my profile, clicking on my icon on the upper right of the screen, and then clicking on comments on the right side, so I get the latest ones.
But that doesn't give me anything filtered for what has been answered or not, it's all of them, so that might not be as efficient as what you're looking for.

David just tried what you suggested. In the drop down menu I only get 'Bookmarks', 'Drafts', 'Posts' the last one being what I initiated. I don't see 'Comments'.
However, in playing around I've gone into 'Notofication Preferences' within my profile settings and clicked on all items that I want to be notified of. So I'll see what that brings.

Ah, sorry, extra step - when you click on your profile in the upper-right corner, above Bookmarks, Drafts and Posts, you'll have your own name at the top. Click on that.
Then on the right side, you'll see the options that include comments.

I have a bookmark in my toolbar for my Community Comments. If you are logged in, it will take you direct to your comments: https://community.familysearch.org/en/profile/comments/

Thank you David I’ve found the comments section - strange how finding ones own posts is direct but for comments it’s a bit of a convoluted route to follow. Would not have found that without your help. Thank you

Ainé in the event that you have tried tracing your Irish ancestors do you have any practical tips that you can share. I believe that official records started in 1886 and so what are the available sources if any in finding persons prior to that. Any tips gratefully received. Regards JihnBrimby
