When I visited Canosa about 8-10 years ago, we found my grandfather's death certificate, yet I cannot find it through Family Search - Italy, it is the same for some births. Also, I know my grandmother dies in Canosa, yet I cannot

@Anna Gallo Do you mean in Historical Records search results? The civil birth records for Canosa di Puglia have only been indexed for the years 1878-1895. There are a few that come up showing other years but when I checked they have been indexed with the wrong year. If you looked in the catalog, the birth records do have icons for indexed records, but sadly they are not. The images are available if you have an LDS account. If not, go to the Antenati website (for images, also not indexed).
