I add a photo to a persons memory, but it won't let me make the photo their profile picture
From my phone I add a photo to a persons memory, but it won't let me make that photo their profile picture. The icon only spins and never loads/. I've let it spin for over 10 minutes and it never stops.
When I go to my laptop, the profile photo that I can see on my phone, doesn't show up on the person's profile at all.
I have a lot of photos in my gallery, is that what is causing the problem?
If I delete the photos from my gallery, does it delete them off of the person's profile?

How are you doing this on your phone? Using the website on a mobile browser? Using the iOS Family Tree app? Or using the Android Family Tree app?
What is the privacy setting on that photo — public or private?
I have a lot of photos in my gallery, is that what is causing the problem?
The answer depends on your answer to my first question. But I'm general, the more pictures you have, the longer it takes to do certain things, but it should work eventually.
If I delete the photos from my gallery, does it delete them off of the person's profile?
Yes. If you're worried about your gallery getting too big, the best things to do for photos you still want to appear connected to profiles in Family Tree is to archive them.

I solved the issue by uninstalling the Family Tree app and reinstalling it. The app works again! Yea!
