On this page; we can see 1931 Canada Census is available on this site:

https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/sources/G1GX-HDGError

But on this page; this Census is not listed:

https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/list?ec=region%3ACanada%2CplaceId%3A1927164%2Cregion%3ACanada&fcs=placeId%3A1927164&count=20

How do we search the 1931 Canada Census on this site?

    This link should work:

    https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/5000196

    If you go to the main search page and use the Find A Collection box it comes right up:

    There is a funny glitch in however you got to the link you posted. Because clicking that link brings you to this page:

    And 1931 is no where to be found.

    However, if I take off the Canada filter in the top right corner, type Canada in the collection title box in the upper left, and click Censuses and Lists in the right column to narrow things down, the 1931 census pops right up:

    There must be something that needs to be fixed in the underlying description for that census index that causes the search path you took to leave it out.

    @Gordon Collett

    Thank you for that tip!

    I found exactly the same issue with the England & Wales Census collections, whereby the 1881 set is not included in the list. Whereas, taking off the England filter in the top right corner "restores" the collection title to the list. I wonder how many other pages are affected by this glitch? Probably low on the engineers' list of priorities, but surely this behaviour should be corrected?

    Respective pages, as per your illustration regarding Canada:
