Why do we have to go to FamilySearch Centers to be able to see some images?
I am from Manizales, Colombia, and I try to see some images of baptisim records but a lot of those are hidden. Why? Some are available to see and some others are not. I went to a FamilySearch Center in Manizales, Colombia, (the one located in Chipre neighborhood) and the person who served me didn't let me touch the computer and they weren't able to locate the image I was telling them. At the end, I left because I had already spent a couple of hours there and I couldn't see the image. It is hidden for the public and I couldn't see it at the center either.

FamilySearch has contracts with individual record holders, such as a church, city, state, or country. Those contracts dictate where the images can be viewed or if they can be viewed at all. Some record holders only allow the records to be microfilmed (old) or digitally photographed (today) for preservation.
I visit my Affiliate Library every week and my local FamilySearch Center at least once a month. I often do lookups for others. If you can tell me more specifically what you want to view, I can try to help.
