How to use AQ16 custom report fields
when creating a custom report, I get to the fields /possible fields for "user event place", then there is a selection box for "select user event for column". There are a vast number of events there. I am trying to output all places lived for particular filtered people and geographic location.

It sounds as if you are creating a report in Ancestral Quest. I suggest you contact Ancestral Quest customer support. FamilySearch does not provide support for partner software. https://www.ancquest.com/support.htm
