Is there a way to re-attach a detached source?

I detached a marriage source because the bride's name did not match another source for the marriage.

Then found out that the name on one record is a synonym for the name on the other record translated from Gaelic.

Hi Monica Depends on what you did with the source you detached. If you just detached it and nothing else, it should reappear in record hints. Or you should be able to find it by doing a search. If when you detached it, you marked it as not a match then you can recover it. On the person page. details tab, you will see the Research Helps block at the top right. Click Show All in that block. You will now be on a page showing any available research helps. At the top right is a selection for Dismissed Helps. This is where the not a match items go. You can recover from that list. Hope this helps.

If it was attached to a profile, you should be able to find it in the changelog of that profile.

You can see in this example that someone attached an incorrect 1930 census to this family, and I detached it a few days later. It's accessible from either that attached or the detached listing in the changelog.
