This page. This is a baptism record and is full of computer mistakes.

How do I delete the folks who are NOT the child's spouses? Many thanks.

    Repaired URL: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:6DPL-3SBR

On the right side you will see

This record was indexed by a computer. Use the Edit button above to make corrections.

The edit button is in the black bar at the top.

"Use the Edit button to make corrections" may be useful for fixing misreadings of names, but this is a lot more, ah, messed up than that. The groupings are all wrong, with two or three or five different baptisms being treated as one, and some of the actual baptisee's names are entirely missing (not highlighted).

The "Add" button on the index editor still doesn't work, as of the last time I tried, a few days ago. You go through all the work, trying to figure out the interface and the choices, and you think you've got it — but refreshing the page or coming back to it from elsewhere makes it all disappear.

That said, I think I got Ysabel's index entry fixed — but that still leaves dozens of incorrect entries on the page. (I am hampered in correcting them both by lack of time and by lack of language. I know enough Latin to be able to parse the gist of things in Spanish, but I can't always figure out the handwriting.)

I'm pretty sure my method with Ysabel was not the intended one: it kept telling me that it needed to delete things (some of which were actually correct) in order to complete what I had just told it to do. It was all complicated enough that I can't even describe the steps I took. I do remember that it started with the edit (pencil) button next to Relationships on Ysabel's data panel, then Drag Names at the bottom of that, and then the New Record Group box thingy at the top of that.

Yes, I agree the Editor still has major issues.

Yeah. I thought I was doing something wrong but it sure seems like the "editing system" has been modified such that it no longer works smoothly….. what a mess.

It just does not allow me to fix nor delete badly inserted Spouses. It's terrible that it does not allow entry of locations other than what is in their "bank"….that is about ridiculous.

Well, I got this individual's name fixed, and here parents fixed, and her baptism date fixed….but I cannot remove the ridiculous spouses added by the computer….. or I just don't know how???? The whole page is a mess for the all the other individuals.

I tried to fix this individual. I can read Spanish (even those scribbles) but the whole page is a mess….must have been a bad day for that computer. And they don't make it easy to repair. What a mess. I cleaned this individual up some but the rest of the page is in bad shape….and I did not look around at other pages of this document.
