This popped up in my FamilySearch Chat today:

Good day, I am writing to you today with an exciting opportunity that I believe will be of great interest to you, given your unique surname.
However, due to the sensitive nature of the opportunity, I believe it would be best to communicate via email.
Kindly contact my personal Email for details: ……

Is there somewhere this can be reported? Who do I send the user name and email address to so he can be kicked out of the system?

To report abuse like this, go to the chat. Click on the three dots at the bottom of the chat. This will open a popup where you can report the abuse. This will get the information to the right people, who will then be able to contact you and take care of it.

You can also report abuse by going to your person page. Under 'Tools' click on 'Report Abuse.'

I got the exact same message. Report it to Family Search, and block the user.
