On the U.S 1860 census at: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33SQ-GYBG-1N?view=index&personArk=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AMDKV-39M&action=view

There are about ten people, including my great-grandfather, who are listed with an occupation I am unable to decipher. The same occupation appears several times on this page (including those with ditto marks). My great-grandfather is on line 23 as the last of seven names with this same occupation. Can anyone decipher the handwriting for this occupation on this page? Thanks!

I believe the occupation is "miner".
