First Ancestor tree view: "Remove First Ancestor" button is disabled

In the FT Help description (following a search in the help centre for "Remove First Ancestor"), the following instructions are provided (in part):

Steps (website)

  1. Make sure the correct person of focus is shown at the bottom of the screen.
  2. On the person of focus, click +, and click Remove First Ancestor.

Firstly, there is no such item as Remove First Ancestor in the list which appears when I click +. Instead, there is an Add/Edit First Ancestor item.

Secondly, if I click that Add/Edit item, I get a dialog showing the sole existing first ancestor and a couple of buttons: ADD FIRST ANCESTOR (which is enabled) and REMOVE FIRST ANCESTOR. The Remove First Ancestor button is disabled (greyed-out and has a stop-style mouse pointer if I hover the mouse over it). There does not seem to be a way to select the sole first ancestor, if that is the cause of the problem.

How can a first ancestor be removed? Can the help article be updated?

I think the "remove" link/button is disabled if you only have one ancestor on the list. I added another generation and the button is now available.

The Help Center article definitely needs clarification or updating.

While they're at it, could someone please fix the popup for adding another ancestor? It misspells "descendant". (Yes, "descendent" is also a word, but it is not the word they want.)
