FamilySearch Book results slow

It doesn't matter what browser, what device, what OS, sometimes the website takes forever to load or just never does. Clearing the cache makes no difference….I do that every time I close down. The iOS app loads faster, but does not work very easily, like impossible to get a link to a page/source. The only choice I have found is to add to "Source Box" and even then it is difficult. I wonder (A) just how old and underpowered the servers are and (B) who actually maintains the software. It is not like the LDS has no funds….And then there is the case of the disappearing profiles! Click on a profile link, and sometimes you'll be told that the person doesn't exist, even though you see one with an ID number. You then back up a few pages, and, lo and behold, that profile DOES exist. What gives?
