US, Illinois—Naturalization Records, 1930–1945 [Part B] [MQV4-VRM]
I'm working on indexing the above mentioned batch. I looked at the instructions and have hit a bump. I'm indexing a "Petition for Naturalization" and it's 2 pages. The second page indicated the record date. Do I put "blank" on Image 1 and the date in a separate entry for Image 2? And, if I'm putting all the information under Image 1 how would I tag Image 2?

Image 2 is the Oath, which is indexed with the name and date only, which, in this case, is 4/27/1943.

Post-1940 Naturaliations have the record date on the back side of the form, between the witnesses names and the Oath. The record date for Image 1 is 2/5/1942.

With image 2 do I enter the same date or go back to step 1 of indexing and select "no, duplicate image" or "no, no extractable data"?

As erutherford says, Index image 2 as the Oath of Allegiance with the date 4/27/1943 and the person's given and surnames. Mark the other entry boxes <blank>. This gives you 1 indexed document for each image.
