Starting with the entry "John F', should the name "J F Timlin' be indexed? Is this what the project instructions mean when it says "If multiple people were listed for a single entry, index information about each one using separate entries in the data entry area."

Wouldn't 'Timlin' be indexed on a different directory page?

Those would be the people/company they work for. Only index the first name given and any spouse (which would be indexed in the same record). That instruction is confusing since we're not to index any business officers that are given with the resident either. I've never seen more than one resident listed. Each resident has his own listing in the directory, so they need to take that instruction out.
