Downloading from FamilySearch into Family Tree Maker 2019 ... Hanging

When downloading genealogy from FamilySearch into Family Tree Maker 2019, the import will hang. Is there anyway to rescue these discovered ancestors? I have over 64,000 known ancestors in one search and the only options I have in the search box are HELP and CANCEL. When I select the CANCEL button, I lose all the ancestors Family Tree Maker 2019 has come across. If there is no current way to save these entries, does anyone know if Family Tree Maker will have a way to save them in the future? Thanks.

I would suggest that you contact Mackiev, the current producer of Family Tree Maker, through their Live Chat feature.

FYI there is a new version of FTM due out later this year that will likely address several existing bugs/issues.
