In Haitian baptismal records, in a record index (a row of names with only baptism date and name of child and parent) where should I put the name of the parent if I do not know if it was the mother or the father?

The Field Helps for the father's and mother's names say, "If only a given name was recorded for a parent, but the parent was not specified as a mother or a father, index the name in the Father's Given Names field."

Could you give a share batch code so we can see your image? It's the letter/number combo in brackets after the project title at the top. Then we can see how the fields are labled.

Here is the index I am working on now:

    [M3CX-MNY]

I am thinking the name of the père ou mère is probably (most often) the name of the mother's last name since the name of the father's last name is with the child's name. But I don't know. I'd love some help.
