Hello,

My spouse has read-only members of the LDS church higher in their family tree. The FamilySearch app has Record Hints and Possible Duplicates that I can't action on. There should be a way to request changes that can be reviewed and approved by LDS staff.

Your comment really concerns any read-only persons in Family Tree. It has nothing to do with members of the LDS Church, since many read-only persons have no connection to the Church -- they are royalty or other famous people.

In any case, there is a process for requesting updates to read-only persons. See this article: https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/what-are-read-only-records-in-family-tree
